Browser and Workstation Security Requirements
  • Supported Browsers:
    • For PC and Mac systems: IE 5.01 or higher or Netscape 6.01 or higher or a Mozilla compatible browser. (Firefox included).
    • Mac only: Safari 1.x or higher.

Access and Authentication

There are a variety of options available for access to the eLibrary Technology Platform.  We offer IP, Referring URL, Username and Password.  NOTE: Referring URL authentication is not supported on a Mac.

  • Barcode: For remote users we also offer a system that will check a barcode, Contact Technical Support to set this up.
Administering your Account / Making Changes

Library Staff can make some changes to their account  through the Local Configuration utility.

  • eLibrary databases are not OpenURL Source or OpenURL Target compliant with San Antonio Level 1 (SAP1).
  • MARC Records are not available for this database.
Meta-Searching
  • XML Gateway is not available available.
  • Elibrary databases do not support Z39.50 Access.
